Fast Forward to Fall: J Crew, San Francisco US

The global travel theme is still hot on the high streets in San Francisco. We love this scheme from J Crew, using old school tape cassettes in repetition as a backdrop works so well for this fashion brand and brings a little nostalgia to its viewers. We are waiting in anticipation for the new store opening on Regent Street, London...

Marbled Mannequins at London Fashion Week: Liberty, London

Something very exciting is happening in Liberty London store windows at the moment; make up artist Isamaya Ffrench has collaborated with the Liberty artistic directors to create the most stunning marbled mannequin finish for London Fashion Week. We absolutely love this new marbled mannequin effect, we have seen body art as an important part of visual merchandising emerging in fashion forward stores in London town this autumn.

Glass Graphics: Urban Outfitters, San Francisco US

You have to stop and stare at the windows of Urban Outfitters on Market in San Francisco, what seems like crushed glass has covered the whole front entrance, the glass and tree house theme escalates up through multiple windows. Urban Outfitter's signature raw wood material teamed with decorative hand drawn illustrations; these guys tap into the cool Y generation perfectly.

Graphics: Old Navy, San Francisco US

These huge graphics work in perfect scale with the large format window spaces along Market Street in San Francisco; loud and to the point the American roadside travel graphic concept speaks volumes using block price points and product statements.

Grecian Landscape: Anthropologie, San Francisco US

It's good to see Anthropologie interior and window display schemes looking as amazing stateside as they do in London. This scheme echo's the beautiful white and blue Grecian geometric box houses dotted within the hillside landscapes in the Mediterranean. Inside the store the visual merchandising narrative continues but takes on a more tropical atmosphere with giant jungle leaves and vibrant emerald green backdrops.

Symmetry: Barney's, San Francisco, US

It's all about symmetry and balance in Barneys store windows in San Francisco at the moment; we love the black and white blotted graphic print within the men's wear window concept and the balance and direction of the shimmering gold accessory mannequins. The execution and attention to detail is particularly sleek making these immaculately dressed windows timeless.
